These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of myimageninja.com and the tools, content and features offered on it (together, the "Service"), operated by MyImageNinja ("we", "us" or "our"). Please read them carefully. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

MyImageNinja provides free, browser-based tools for converting PDF documents to images, images to PDF documents and related tasks such as reordering, rotating and removing pages. The tools run locally in your web browser: files you process are not uploaded to our servers, as described in our Privacy Policy. No account is required.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if higher, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Your files and responsibilities

  • You keep all rights to the files you process. We claim no ownership of, and have no access to, your files or the output generated from them.
  • You are solely responsible for the files you process and must have the right to use, copy and convert them. Do not use the Service to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights, or to process content that is unlawful.
  • You are responsible for keeping backups of your original files and for checking that converted output meets your needs before relying on it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to interfere with, disrupt, overload or compromise the Service, its servers or networks, including through malware, denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated requests;
  • scrape, copy, republish or redistribute the Website's content, design or code except as permitted by law or by the relevant open-source licences;
  • frame or mirror the Website, or present it in a way that suggests a relationship with or endorsement by us that does not exist;
  • click on advertisements displayed on the Website artificially, encourage others to do so, or otherwise generate invalid ad traffic;
  • use the Service to harass, defraud or harm others.

5. Intellectual property

The Website, including its text, guides, graphics, logo, name, look and feel and compilation of content, is owned by MyImageNinja and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and share links to our pages, and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not otherwise reproduce our content without permission.

The Service is built with open-source software, including Mozilla's PDF.js (Apache License 2.0), pdf-lib (MIT License), JSZip (MIT License) and React (MIT License). These components remain subject to their own licences, and nothing in these Terms limits the rights those licences grant.

6. Advertising and third-party links

The Service is supported by advertising provided by third parties. Ads and links to other websites are provided for convenience; we do not control, endorse or take responsibility for third-party websites, products or services, and your dealings with them are solely between you and the third party.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that conversions will be accurate or complete for every file, or that the Service will work with every device or browser. 8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyImageNinja and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, files, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use it (if any) or USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyImageNinja and its operators from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms or your infringement of any third-party right.

10. Changes to the Service

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for example to fix problems, improve features or comply with law. We are not liable to you for any such change.

11. Termination

We may restrict or block access to the Service for anyone who breaches these Terms or misuses the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) will survive.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue informally. Subject to any mandatory rights you have in your country of residence, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.

13. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms; you may not transfer yours without our consent.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
