Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how MyImageNinja ("we", "us") and our partners use cookies and similar technologies on myimageninja.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember information between page views, such as your preferences or whether you have already seen a consent message. Similar technologies include local storage (data saved by your browser for a specific site), pixels and web beacons (tiny images or scripts that record that a page or ad was viewed).

First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting. Third-party cookies are set by other companies, such as advertising networks, whose content appears on the site.

2. Cookies and storage we use

MyImageNinja itself does not set any tracking cookies. The only data we store on your device is your display preference:

NameTypePurposeDuration
themeLocal storage (first-party)Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Never sent to any server.Until you clear your browser data

The files you convert are processed in your browser's memory and are never written to cookies or sent to us.

3. Third-party cookies

3.1 Consent management

Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), Google's consent management platform asks for your consent and stores your choices in cookies such as FCCDCF and FCNEC, typically for up to 13 months.

3.2 Advertising

We display ads from partners such as Google AdSense and Media.net. These partners may set cookies to show ads, prevent the same ad from appearing too often, detect fraudulent clicks, measure how ads perform and, where you have consented or where permitted by law, personalise ads based on your interests. Examples of cookies used by Google include:

Media.net and its demand partners use their own cookies for similar purposes; see the Media.net Privacy Policy. Cookie names and durations are set by these companies and may change. Google publishes an up-to-date overview in How Google uses cookies.

4. How to manage cookies

You are in control. You can use any of the following options:

  • Consent settings: click (also in the footer of every page) to review or withdraw your consent. If the consent message is not shown, it is not required in your region; the options below still apply.
  • Google ad personalisation: visit Google Ads Settings to turn off personalised ads.
  • Industry opt-out tools: aboutads.info (US), NAI opt-out (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
  • Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies, including blocking all third-party cookies. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.

Blocking advertising cookies does not affect the converter: all tools continue to work normally. You will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our partners or practices change. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
