Why we built MyImageNinja
Converting a PDF into images sounds like a small job, yet most online tools make it surprisingly uncomfortable. You are asked to upload your document to an unknown server, wait in a queue, dodge misleading "download" buttons and sometimes sign up or pay to remove a watermark. For a bank statement, a contract or a page of exam answers, uploading the file to a stranger's computer simply should not be necessary.
Modern browsers are powerful enough to do this work themselves. MyImageNinja was created to prove it: a fast, focused converter that runs completely in your browser, handles many files at once and never asks you to give up your documents.

How it works
When you open one of our tools, your browser downloads the converter's code from our website, just like any other web page. From that point on, everything happens locally:
- Your browser reads the files you select directly from your device.
- Each PDF page is rendered into an image using PDF.js, the open-source PDF engine developed by Mozilla and used in Firefox. Rendering runs in a Web Worker so the page stays responsive.
- New PDFs are assembled with the open-source pdf-lib library, and ZIP archives are read and written with JSZip.
- The finished files are handed straight back to you as a download.

- Privacy first. Your documents are yours. Local processing is not a feature we added later; it is how the product is built.
- Free and accessible. No accounts, no watermarks, no artificial page limits, and an interface that works on phones as well as desktops.
- Honest design. No fake download buttons, no dark patterns and no surprise paywalls. Ads are clearly separated from the tools.
- Useful content. We write guides that answer real questions in plain language, and we update them when things change.
How MyImageNinja is funded
MyImageNinja is free to use and is supported by advertising. Ads are served by third-party networks such as Google AdSense, which use cookies as explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Advertising never has access to the files you convert.
